INTRODUCING MYSELF
Dear Loving tutor and Colleagues,
It is my pleasure to share some information about me. I am Mr.Tashi Tenzin, pursuing Bachelors of Education in Primary, year IV. I am in late 30s and have 3 children. I am from Dungsam Pema Gatshel, Norbugang Geog which is one of the most remote areas in Bhutan. Before I joined in this College, I was serving in Royal Bhutan Police for 14 years. Basically I studied till grade VIII in 1990's and could not continue my studies because of financial problem and had to look for a job.
However, serving in my job for 11 years, I could continue my studies in Continuing Education programme in 2013 where I had to study from grade IX, at DDTI ( Dzongkha Development Training Institute) located in Thimphu, Changangkha, after studying for 2 years in DDTI, I continued my Continuing Programme in Kelki Higher Secondary School taking Arts stream and finally qualified to Paro College of Education. Before, coming to the Paro College of Education, I was also working as a tourist Guide for few months since there was ample time in between. My favorite subject is Dzongkha, however am not good at mathematics.
My hobby is to meeting with new people and exchanging new ideas, sharing about our tradition and culture. Also I like to travel and have fun but am not good at cheating other. My favorite sport is soccer, and the Swiss man Mr. Roger is my best sport player. Besides, Bumthang is considered as one of my best visiting places because it has unique land form unlike other districts which is fully covered by full of chirpine forest. I also like to spend most of the times with my parents and family at hometown during long vacation.
In addition to that, I like to listen traditional stories such as Ling Geyser and Seng Seng Lhamo which are so long to listen that is narrated by senior citizens and prefer to listen folk songs such as zhungdra and Boedra which are related to the religion and culture. Often I also prefer to hike if I get ample time; to explore the nature along my family, keeping them engage and enjoy the nature.
All in all, I wish I would continue working as a guide after completing my studies and meet more friends around the world, to consider teaching as my profession is not possible for me because I would not t get chance to sit for RCSE because of my age. Besides, I have a dream to travel in China along my family and parents to explore beautiful cities such as Chengdu and Lhasa Potala which is my dream as well to my loving dad to travel once in our life. Hopefully, waiting for wonderful time to come here after.
Have a fun reading during your leisure to all the viewers!
